Lisa Maria Sele Sætre
Lisa Maria Sele Sætre is a Medical Doctor and PhD Student working full-time at the Research Unit of General Practice at the University of Southern Denmark. She has been a part of the project group behind the Danish Symptom Cohort since 2014, where she started doing research pre-graduate. After some years of working full-time as a doctor, she was enrolled as a PhD student at the Faculty of Health Science, University of Southern Denmark, in 2020.
Lisa is especially interested in lung cancer diagnostics, social inequity, cancer care and access to general practice. Her PhD deals with healthcare seeking and the diagnostic evaluation of individuals with potential symptoms of lung cancer and explores the influence of smoking history and health literacy.
