Mette Cathrine Ørngreen is a pediatrician and works as part of the metabolic team at the Center for Rare Diseases in the Children and Youth Department of Rigshospitalet. Here, the treatment of all congenital metabolic diseases in Denmark is managed. In addition to clinical work, Mette has been involved in Rigshospitalet’s research on metabolism in children and adults with inherited metabolic diseases, neuromuscular diseases, as well as children admitted with acute and chronic illnesses.
